My biggest takeaway from building my unit plan on farms was how important it is to think about Bloom's Taxonomy when planning. The cognitive process is something I have always struggled with trying to connect to a lesson.
Connections I have made while creating this unit plan were on assessment and how to assess students at the end of the unit. I wanted to make the end of the assessment fun as well as see what takeaways students would have at the end.
For the next time I build a unit plan I would like to focus more on backwards planning strategies.
I would tell people for next semester working on this project to consider all aspects of the lesson and think about this unit and how the students will view this lesson from their point of view.
