So far, I based my unit goals off of the three essential questions I came up with two weeks ago.

  • Based off of connections to multilingual advocacy, students are able to outline civic participation and duties.
  • Describe civic responsibility in the context of diverse communities.
  • Analyze how different perspectives contribute to community interests and ideas.

I like these goals because of how closely I made them align with the essential questions I came up with for my unit. I feel that they communicate what my students are doing with the learning. I feel that I could specify time as well as how the students should be outlining, describing, and analyzing. I am unsure if I should specify medium or criteria for how students are doing those things.
